Yes, I believe it pays back through either 3rd or 5th place, not sure of the amounts though. Last year, anyone that entered was automatically in the main race, which led to absolute chaos, the last one I was in last year had 60 cars in it and 12-15 actually finished. Now they have dry qualifying during the regular program, then the top 24 cars run in the main, and the rest run in a consi. so everybody gets to race. You are really racing, just the track is wet, yes there are wrecks, and banging, and all that good stuff, but the goal is to be in the front on the last lap, not take everyone out (though it happens ) I believe only one or two cars went out in the last one I ran in though alot of people went down multiple laps, and there were alot of crashes. It's alot better with 24 cars in my opinion, because you can work your way to the front from wherever, when I ran in the one with 60 cars, if you didn't start in the front 10 cars, you didn't have a chance, they were taking cars out with forklifts after that one, but I believe everyone drove off the last time except the guy that lost a wheel
