Just have them tell you the VIN, no point in making the drive before checking it out.

Yeah.....it's such a good freakin' deal too.....and the car is exactly what I've been wanting.....and for so cheap, I wouldn't have to wait to save up for a down payment. But then I think......do I really want a car with a rebuilt title?

What kind of car is it? And what's so bad about a rebuilt title? You can still register and insure it.

Make sure you check the title history good. If you cant trace it all the way back to original title then be careful.. It could have come from another state, had VIN switched and all kinds of fun stuff. Check the VIN #'s on the car too and make sure they are all accounted for, firewall etc..

It may be just as simple as a recovered theft that was not "intact" per FL Statutes that required title branding.

Just do your research before you put down the cash.

I found out that a rebuilt title = the factory warranty being voided.

And I'm not about that with the terrible bad luck I always have with cars. So I think I'm gonna skip that idea.
