Each excel a bit better in certain areas but generally they all kick ass in comparison.
I go with Amsoil because they have been around the longest and I only like changing my oil every 7.500 miles or so.

But Mobil 1 makes their oils to run at “normal” drain intervals (3,000 or 5,000 miles) while we make AMSOIL for extended drain intervals of 25,000-miles or 12-months, whichever comes first. Mobil 1 SuperSyn doesn’t have to be as good as ours, so it’s not. And it’s not as economical as ours.
I ran nothing but Mobil1 in my 00GT since the day I bought it until a month or so before I got rid of it.Then I switched to Royal Purple and the gas milage was way better...I never tried Amsoil but might with the turbo setup.

My grandfather and parents have been running Amsoil ever since I could remember and that is all I use in my cars.. My dad had a 88' crown vic w/ a 5.0 and changed the oil every 20K miles and that car still runs today w/ 350k + miles and still has never even had the intake off the car!!! Im sold on there product

I don't care one way or the other. Just pointing out the obvious.
