you guys are fucking dumbasses, especially you ricer shitheads who think you need apc wings for your 0-60 street races.
that system is completely functional. that guy needs his car to stay as straight as possible unless he wants it to turn, and for it not to fishtail around. the huge sidewalls keep the car straight in place so it doesnt slide around on the ice when going straight.
the center portion is to produce downforce and/or give support to the sidewalls, which is also what the crossed support cables are for.

It aint melting due to pressure.It might crack or split due to pressure but its not getting hot because of pressure so please take your basic ass back to basic physics and learn some more basic shit into your basic head...
