Default S2000 question

whats your opinion on the s2000 do you think its a good buy for the money you would spend on one brand new? they go for like 32K or would you go for a used one for less money but miles on it... considering every aspect do you think the s2000 is a good buy

I like them, I'd definately rock one if I wasn't so tall and poor.

Anyway, s2000's are cool little cars. Quick and nimble. If it was me, I'd find a low mile used one and save yourself some money.

The newest S2000 has a 2.2l motor which has dropped the priced of used 2.0l low mile S2000s down to very affordable and resonable prices. I'd say now is a good time to buy a used S2000.

It's a great car but it's IMO it might rough car for a daily driver for most. I'd love to have on my in my garage.

don't like them at all..sure they're pretty quick a nimble and all that, but you haveto rev the fuck out of it t go anywhere, and that's not to my liking...I'd spend that kind of money on something else for sure

Personally they have a ceiling after which most mods are too expensive bang for the buck wise.....

IF I had one, i'd most likely get...

NVidia Exhaust
AEM CAI
Some kind of header (comptech maybe?)

Amuze front lip
HRE 540's in black
Possible vented carbon hood

WHY? My friend has this exact car minus the header... I borrowed it for almost a week....

Never did I get so many looks in a car (cept my old black 300Z) and have so much fun...

It wasnt the fastest thing out there, but It was sure fun to play with all those revs on the local twisties. It was a car that couldnt hurt u even if you tried! (well maybe not, but I couldnt seem to get it to spin if I drove fairly smart)

Past this all mods get quite expensive, even the header is a stretch and I'd have to look at the prices to see if it was worth it..

Car also had some Intrax springs on it, but I'm not sure how I liked them for handling compared to stock cause it was on stock struts, but it certanily made the car LOOK better and didnt seem to hurt much of anything... I think the increased handling over a perfectly stock car came from the fact that the HRE 540's had 285's on the rear and 255's on the front...

Well, I have had one for close to two years now and it has been great. I haven't had any major problems and it's a blast to drive. I like change though so I will be selling it soon for the new Elise.
