I dunno, I never found a time where i thought it "lacked" torque for daily driving....

Its the same as driving a civic or accord, its just a "normal" car

Something was wrong with the car then. S2000s are known to be scary to people who don't know what they're doing.

They are, bar none, the most neutral car sold in the USA.

The S2K's are rated very high by everyone that matters. And I just read where they finish in the top 10 for resale value based on 5 years...52%. That's hot when the highest rated is 54%. Nearly perfect 50\50 weight distribution. I am saving for one of these baby's right now. If you have the means go get it! Ever figure why you can't get the red and black interior in a red or black one though? WTF?

Given I dont know "what I was doing" as much as you do, I'm at least decent (3 enduros at sebring in a 240Z, around 25-30 autocrosses at buckingham and a few at GIR over the years). I was doing all my stuff on public roads (not a good idea), I did 3-4 corners at speeds that I probabally shouldnt have (these were the ones where I came out with that tiny bit of oversteer at the exit, wasnt sure if it was gonna let go sicne I didnt really know the cars limits yet) , I'm sure at autoX going 100% full out, I most likely would have easilly spun it by trying and using weight transition and really pushing it.

But its definately one of the easiest cars to drive at 85% on a public road and feel 100% safe...
