I think a used nice Honda Civic would a great first car. The Civic is safe, inexpensive to mantain and easy to find used in good condition.

 

Yea i was thinking about a civic, reliable, inexpensive etc. Cool cars. I was thinkign of getitng a brand new car for my first car if my mom does put in teh rest liek she said she would. If i do get a brand new car i was thinking of a gti. Just searchigna round and brainstorming. Only thing about having my mom pay for like half is she is going to be like, i payed for half so its part mine. And take the car alot. I rather just use my 6-7 grand and buy my own car.

 

don't get a brand new car as you first car, you'll just fuck it up....6-7 grand?...get an Integra or a Maxima

 

Yea, i dont know that much about cars so i wouldnt want to spend 20 grand on a car and fuck it up. I think i could get a pretty good car fir 6-7 grand. I was looking into integras too. I havnt looked into nissans. I wanan see if i can get a vw for around that much. Hey is 100,000 alot of miles on a import?

 

I agree with that but really just get a Prelude.

it's been my experience Hondas barely break a sweat @ 100k, as long as they haven't been beat too bad.. not sure about other imports..

my 87 vw golf was at 182k when i sold it, and the engine was great.. just needed a lil front end work

 

maxima's are so nice, i had a 93 5-speed maxima, power everything, sunroof, bose sound system, and that car was so awesome...im doing a project with it now
the newer ones are nicer, and more in ur price range

You'll totally FUCK UP your first car in no time. Get something used and drive it for a couple years and if it's still in piece trade up for a new car.

I totally destroyed my first car in a couple years without even being in a single accident. The car was mint when it was given to me and looked like a feature car in the Mad Movie when I was done.
