Werd! And without wind resistance, we'd be easily hitting revlimiter in 5th (or 6th, you lucky bastards).

I went 155 in my last car. 450rwhp Corvette. Some of these numbers you all are rattling off fall into 1 of 2 categories. 1) Bullshit. Do the math, given hypothetically infinite horsepower, your gearing will limit you. Theoretical top on my 240sx is 165. And comming back to reality, even turbo'd I don't have the power to get there. Or category 2) From the factory there is an "allowable" ammount of spedometer descrepancy, that increases exponentially at speeds past 90. Some tests have shown 6mph descrepancy at 70mph that increases to 15mph at 100. This could also be a factor.

I'm really not doubting all of you.. but seriously. ITR could hit 160 in theory (tire size, gearing will change that), a camry could hit 128-ish.. and that lying bastard that claimed 200mph at 16. How are others reading the mph so accurately? My 240sx stops at 120, corvette was digital, friends camry reads to 115 or 130 or some funny number. The GS-T can go to 182 at 7500rpm, proving some cars are good for it. And then other cars just shouldn't be doing triple digits. Last post I wanna read is a Volkswagen Hippie-Bus going 150 down I-4.
Just throwing out some theorys..
-Jeff

Who's supra you borrow Last time I leave my car around you J/K.

As far as top speed I stop looking down after 160 which is towards end of my fith gear. And the time I've done that is agaisnt other Supra's or certain bikes.
