that is true since as in almost all racing, the cars are governed because if someone wanted to do something different it might be too exciting

 

I think the officials are affraid of the technology. Why do you think they are still runnin carb. push rod motors and not DOHC fuel injected engines.

 

And you would be dead wrong. They don't go DOHC and EFI inorder to keep the costs down. Ever wonder why it costs as much for the F1 and Champ\Indy car guys to run 15 race seasons as it does for the Nascar guys to run a 36 race season?

I don't think the 's will have any problems with the Japanese manufactured vehicles.

 

Toyota will be just another name on a truck. They are all the same really except for aerodynamic differences.

 

It would alot more fun to watch. Then every make of car/truck could compete.

 

Costs? Shit, those Nascar motors arent exactly cheap.
