online car game=the shit
1/4 mile on there wasn't fun for me. Not enough money to compete, and nobody ever raced for fun. Hell, the problem with that game, was everyone was so worried about losing, that out of 100 people online, only a handful would ever be racing.
The drive for money put a lot of people in the time trials, making it an online single-player game most of the time.

I had a decal chop top 57 vette, and a regluar chop 57 vette, tons of firebird formulas and one of those 59 decal eldorado's ... I pulled some panty's in that one,
I played the game religiously, I won a ton of track championships.

Near the end the test server got to be pretty fun, building up cars at least. But it still was treated like the rest...people hoarding rare cars, rare parts, etc, instead of using them. Had they routinely wiped the server, that shouldn't have been a problem.
General rule for online gaming is- if you make it rare, people will hoard it. Then, they'll sell it on ebay. Seen it in every online game I've played. Even on a MUD, they hoarded rare items. A damn TEXT game. Yikes.
