online car game=the shit

Thanks to some creative "trading" with others, I had cars beyond what most folks could ever have. Horray for being on a team.
I can't remember where I was, but I raced dirty as fuck. The dirt tracks were always fun, but the long paved circuits were fun to make people spend lots of money on. Into a tree you go.

solo, I used to take Bel Air Gran Prix with my Buick...I'd ram that tree on the sharp turn, just to get the "I don't give a shit about my car, what do you think I care about yours" look to it. tint and untint the windows, and it looked good as new (minus the tree-shaped dent in the hood)
I wasn't into trading, or "rare" cars that never left the garage. I had a Buick, a Ford Crestline, and a few other cars. The Buick and Crestline were my favorite, I have a ss of the Crestline on my desktop still. I put Buick engines in my Buick, and Ford engines in my Fords. Got tired of seeing Chevy engines in everything from Buicks to Fords (yes yes, GM, whatever). Even tried running a Caddy for a bit, but it tore up the engine just trying to accelerate.
Initiated a few demo derbys near the end...though some entered and didn't know why I was ramming them.
Most fun was running the circuits with my Crestline w/a 351 in it, only about 600hp. I could go a full run without a penny of damage, wheras everyone else tore up their car just from running, not to mention damage from walls, etc.
I even ran a few laps on tri oval, in reverse. Reactions were hillarious, because I'd spin the car at the start, then go in reverse the whole way. Still made a qualifying time, though I tore the shit out of the transmission every run.
I think I got to level 24 or so...not much higher. Of course I was never competitive, mostly Team Trials, that kinda thing. I suck at games, but I enjoy them anyway.

I don't mind dirty racing, as long as everyone is willing. But then, it's not dirty, is it?
I enjoyed watching someone come up high on the outside turn, only to find my Crestline still tucked between their car and the wall, not scraping either one, with a few inches on either side. Then they'd get nervous and jerk away, and I'd fly by them.
Shoulda found some way to continue the game...awesome idea, just no execution (thanks, EA.)

Haha, I had my beaters as well. Most of them were clapped out Fords that I never once touched the bodies on. Those were great to stuff the most powerful motors in and go kill people with, especially noobs. My rare cars were always used in drag competition and were maxed out power wise. You could usually find me tooling around in a jet black 65 Mustang that looked pretty much stock as can be.
i had decaled-32coupe (2)40coupe,deablo 65stang,8ball coupe.a gtx,roadR lots more,and my babys decaled-70 stang & 57 vette. what was ur guys fast et in1/4 mine was 8.32-8.28-in stang
