Actually you would be surprised as to how well they handle for the size and weight.

As for power they still have the 4.6L 2V which for 2004 is rated at 250hp. They come with 3.27 gears also (they tested with 3.55's but there was only a tenth gained in the 1/4 but I think 5 mph lost on top speed).

Do you own a Torch Red FRC and tremble every time you drive under I75 on Hwy 60 and look in your rearview mirror? If so you are suffering from what is known as Cobraphobia.

Really? Wow, I didn't think that package helped too much. One fo them was...driving really quickly behind me and got completly left on a 90 degree turn to the left. Maybe its just that they value their lives and the lives of drivers around them - you and the actual cop woudl know better than I on that

So, what do they run? Is it true that your not allowed to pop the hood for anyone to see? I've heard that before.

Can't you just buy one as-is, and then you can see all you want?

I think that cop is just being funny. There is no SVT Police Inteceptor Crown Vic. He probably just stuck the badge on there to be different, knowiing only "car people" would get the humor. That cop probably owns a SVT car of his own or something

A California Highway Patrol guy I know (not Poncho) and fellow car fanatic says all they do for po-po cars is give them larger radiators since they run all the time, and don't want to overheat. Thats it. No engine or suspension mods, or anything else.

You forgot nifty blue silicone hoses.

Fully decked out they'll hit 70 some mph in a scant 1/4 mile.

Not true at all. I will pop my hood for anyone at anytime. Here is probably anything anyone wants to know about them.
