cam shaft profile, head/combustion chamber type, compression, idle, etc...

that and EVERY subaru sounds the damn same... the dohc 16v 2.0 ej20 open deck, the dohc 16v 2.5 semi closed deck ej25 in the STi, the SOHC ej18 1.8L, the SOHC 2.5l ej25 n/a...
for some reason they all sound the same, or very similar, even under boost with a header like mine, as the stock manifolds are as far from equal length as it gets!
