i test drove a rx8 today at lindell the car is awsome it pulls hard as hell it picks up fast it has a lag to it has anyone else been in one

 

DId you test drive the auto or the manual? Why is their a horsepower difference my g/f says there is a horsepower difference between the two she knows more about the car than I do....

that lag you felt was explained by mazda as "Once properly broken in to 6000 miles, the power will come"

mazda rated them 250hp...then 240...then 230...and i hear they only dyno 170 to the wheels, the ass end looks like a S2000, so i might as well go get the faster of the two...an s2000...

oh yea, 14.6 from the factory, just had to mention that. but i guess coming from a previous EF swapped owner, its fast?





oh almost forgot the icing on the cake...they are slow, and mazda knows it, kinda like their 155hp claims in the miata...why do you think they are offering to buy back the RX8's?
