We do import those cars here... at least one of them. Holden makes the Pontiac GTO. They are manufactured in Australia; there they are marketed as the Monaro, but still built with the entire GM driveline, including all aluminum Gen III 5.7L LS1 V-8 and 6 spd manual transmission. This is there page. As you can see, it is identical in almost every respect to the Pontiac GTO. The world make identifier on the VIN 6G2 (Australian made GM Pontiac). Pretty kick ass car, if you ask me!

I always find it funny to think that the most bad assed domestics are imports.....not trying to start an import vs domestic thing, hopefully as most of FIA's major draws start to pick up a bigger following here we might see a focus rs, or a falcon
