They are parts binning the internet!!

was pretty sure opel was owned by general motors but i wasn't sure.... everytime i have been to europe i have always thought the opels were damn good looking cars. too bad none of the nice designs show up on american soil.

Damn! The Caddy that zigs; more like that the Caddy that gets recalled for zigging when it should have zagged!

Zate, I don't get the comment about the GTO being a heck of a lot nicer than anything Ford or GM is putting out; GM IS putting it out!

I think what Zate was referring to is even though Holden uses GM platforms now, there designs are all inhouse and relativly independent form the rest of the GM family

the GTO is a great car.. way above anything Ford or GM can put out here. Sure its not a low 13 second car.. mid to high 13's.. but who cares..its a great all around package.
The Camaro SS wasn't a better package??? Sorry Zate, but 3700lbs of curb weight is too much for a modern car. It's ridiculous and that car looks nowhere near as interesting as the Aussie equivalent. I'd never buy the GTO, but I've actually looked at Camaro SSes before and would definitely rock that AWD beast up above. I love my Scoob, but I'm always going to be looking for something faster with every car purchase...at least for the foreseeable future. GM's modern lineup=Suck and the GTO is going to do much to change that. There will be a bunch of beer gut sporting, middle-aged males lining up to get them though.

There will also be a lot of WRX owners getting spanked by middle-aged males driving those GTOs.

So whats wrong with being middle age?

Not every performance car can be directed towards 17 year olds.

Everyone's money spends exactly the same...
