Questionable CRX....

First all don't shoot the messenger this was also posted in the honda forum..... Anyways... A friend and myself were driving and talking car !sh like normal and I was telling my boy that I Don't mind these front wheel drive cars all that much but I am a firm believer that rear wheel drive is were its all at... Then we started yapping some more and then the Mythical CRX came out... You know the one I'm talking about, the one that was a MR "mid engine rear wheel drive" Now I this sounds kinda retarded but if a few of you remember in Grand Turismo 1 on playstation there was a special MR CRX that you could win... Which has probally led to this looney post.. My question is: was there ever a such thing biult factory... If so has anyone one seen one first handed or a pic of.... Finally how much of a pain would it be to make one... just wondering hit me up....

Yeah someone else said there was a NSX swap done and posted a car and driver mag w/ the pic... but it looks nuffn like a crx... Starting to look like that unicorn ehhhh.... Then again this was just posted too... So wutcha think, Still in the myth catagory or might be possable.... As for me, I still confused...

THere is a neonGreen Crx CUSTOM with a rear wheel drive b20 motor in newportrichie,and in jacksonville there is a CUSTOM rear wheel drive crx with a 4door WAGON slow motor into,But as for a Stock Rwd crx nope never done

ive seen that one in person, or one just like it at daytona last year it was a crx with a rear mount(not mid) nsx motor, it was awsome.

i dont think they made a mid engine crx only becuase were the f*** would you put the motor at?? it would have to be your arm rest.

Absolutly does not exist. Never will. Custom jobs have been done. Honda is not a RWD fan. :shrug:

Obviously you've never driven an S2000 on a winding country road in severe anger.. I have to say my experience with my friends minorly modded (CAI and Invidia Exhaust + Intrax springs, Amuse front lip, and some sort of carbon hood, i think Invidia as well as black HRE 540's 18x8 in front 18x9.5 in back) was prob one of the most fun events ive ever had in a car. Power oversteer was easy to obtain, and the car points like a champ. Sure your lightweight frankenstein civic would maybe pull on the straights, but i highly doubt your ability to maintain my cornering velocity...
