Questionable CRX....
probally a rear wheel drive crx wouldn't ahndle for shit, but if done it would be in the intrest of drifting.. In my crzy ass mind straight lines are good, turns are better, and hell if your sideways in the turn, your the phucken man....
But either or this was just to see what other people thought, ya kow.... Hey tool34684 to answer your question about the motor location. Ever look at a renult clio, wheres the motor in it. Right behind you and a nice pretty window so ya can see the engine that you hear behind ya...
later all off to werk

actually...there WAS a tube framed rear engine CRX. Accurately named CRXperiment.

Car had rear wheel drive, and raced in the Import World Championships. It had Individual throttle bodies, but was ditched for a single-plenum intake. It also used a 65mm JG Engine Dynamics(who did all the work on the car) throttle body. It used an air-water intercooler using an igloo ice chest as a reservoir. It used a benz water pump. The turbo's down pipe was a 3" 4130 chromoly unit. a Greddy blow off valve was used, and a Richard Lee wastegate also. it has 100% MSD ignition. it used a DFI fuel management system, turbonetics turbo, SX Lingenfelter series in line fuel pump, 5 gallon fuel cell,1/2 lines, greddy 720cc injectors, and 3/8 return lines.
sorry if all the info is kinda scrambled together, but i just scanned through the article about it and put down the performance stuff. you can actually see the car, just the tube frame, with the engine hooked up, and some guy sitting on the back of the car as the guys from jg engine dynamics drive it at the track in the October 2005 issue of TURBO magazine. page 68
