Tony diesel are well different from gasoline engines. Doesn't the glow plug have to warm up?

GLow plugs only take a few seconds to warm up... at least on my mom 1982 Mercedes 300D Turbo Diesel. Turn the key to the right and hold for 305 seconds (until the glowplug light turns off) and then crank the engine. The car is REALLY slow and runs ruff until the engine has warmed up to normal temperature.

Christ, guys. I can't believe you let your cars warm up. Just hold out on racing your super fast cars for 10 mins and you'll be OK. Damn. It's not like you're driving a Lamborghini. Your car's value isn't gonna drop 10 grand if you bring the engine above 2k RPMs.
