Same thing happened to me a few months after I got my car. Had to get my rear bumper repainted and replace a tail light. You said it perfectly, some people have no integrity.

yes. absolutely. what if a cop was in theparking lot and saw the whole thing and you trying to run. handcuffs are worse.

Depends how bad it was if I would leave a note or not. If I broke a tail light or something, yes. If I scratched it or put a ding in it? Pfft, no.
