My girlfriend scratched someone's car on the front bumper, felt bad, so she left a note. Later the lady contacted her, and started getting quotes from repair shops for repainting the entire front bumper. For around $400, the scratch would be off her mind.

Maybe that's why they didn't leave a note...some people get greedy. It was a scratch...a small one too, nothing like the one you got. I've seen bigger scratches from road gravel.

You realize that $400 for a scratch is actually pretty cheap. Even a Carsmetics(sp?) you're paying $200 for most scratches.

i had a 92 grand marquis with a saleen engine 370hp
373 gears and stripped to 3200 pounds that ran 14.1
and somebody fuckin hit the front end in regal lanes parking lot
my front bumper was on the ground the grill smashed in hood deflector ripped off left front light smashed left front corner ripped off and foun 15 feet away, ahd brown paint marks all on my front left fender
the cop said he was doin about 30 and probably drunk off his ass
it cost me $3200 to get it fixed
i feel your pain

i parked it
and when i went back to unpark it the bitch wass gone
some mutha fucka stol my $10000 investment
