I don't know about this. I come out of a bar or restaurant and find some numbnuts keying my car, it's on and if I beat him to death it becomes a "God bless one less" scenario. I'd do the time for that crime.

I'm all for punishing the rich, but even if a wealthy driver was caught and prosecuted, logic dictates that he/she would employ a superior attorney and walk. Money talks and in this case walks, everybody else does time and pays fines.

You can not be that stupid. You are caught up on the whole issue of the red hand flashing for a person not to cross. What part of a bicycle is considered a vehicle do you not understand? What part of the fact that he had the right of way do you not understand? What part of he is not governed by the flashing hand, but by the actual signal do you not understand? I would suggest you revisit the drivers handbook and learn some about the laws before you speak again.

You are a jack ass!! There is not much more to it than that. You have tried to rationalize your way out of this by saying the do not walk sign was flashing, he was a bum etc... You are in the wrong, I am an expert in the field and you are not so trust me when I tell you that you were wrong. Like I said before it is real easy to have a condesending attitude towards those less fortunate than yourself when you have to do nothing to have what you have. I bet you did not finance the car yourself or at all which means mom and dad ponied up some cash either way.

I bet it is also registered in their names so that they can get cheaper insurance with you only as a driver. I already said this, I put myself through life, no mom and dad paying my way here. I would have had far more respect for you had you said that you were pissed that you were in a crash, but that everyone was alright and the car was not badly damaged. Also had you not bragged about how you could have either beat his ass, or flee and you chose to flee. You are the reason that our insurance rates go up, hit and run drivers that cause others to pay the price for your lack of vision. A little bit of remorse and less bragging and this might not look like you are being such a pompus ass here.

By the way, pursuant to FSS(florida state statute) a bicycle is a vehicle that has all of the rights to the roadway as a motor vehicle. It is required to ride as close as applicable to the right curb on a two way road way unless hazards are present or the lane is substandard in size. Standard lane size is 11ft or wider and therefore any lane less than 11ft wide the bicyclist has the right to take the entire lane. That is the law my young confused driver, not what you keep trying to profess. If telling a lie helps you to deal with being a piece of crap criminal then go with it, but if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, then it is probably a duck.

I think you have a lot to learn about life and traffic laws, please educate yourself in one or the other soon. If you choose to educate yourself in life then drive like an ass in St Pete and I will educate you in the driving laws.

Woah!
Sometimes its just best to admit when you are wrong.
This scenario could have easily been much worse.

My advice to 5ilver5tone is to take your tounge lashing and humbly learn from it.
