What you did was commit and hit and run and if he is hurt at all then you committed a felony offense that can result in jail time and the permanent seizure of your car. Is he supposed to get the Bums information for insurance, well no because a person a bicycle is not required to have insurance, however the bicycle is a vehicle in the roadway and has the same rights as a car.

With that being said let me finish by reminding you that by Florida law you are required to stop at a crash and exchange driver and vehicle information, insurance is not required unless the Police conduct the crash investigation. So what you are saying is that if you had hit a car as opposed to someone that is homeless you think, it would have been different. I have a problem with this, I am a cop and that is the same kind of crap too many young privledged kids have. They tend to think they are above people based on status. I put myself through life, so I can this and not think twice. You committed a crime and are joking about it. I hope you have better sense and judgement in the future, and maybe a little more common consideration for the common person.

I won't lie, I get annoyed at the people standing on the interstate with signs asking for money. However you are not required to give them money, and when they ask me I ask if they have ID and if they say yes I tell them where the Day Labor place is located. So young driver, remember that the don't walk signs do not apply to a bicycle on the roadway in traffic. How about this one 316.121(1) failure to yeild to vehicle already in the intersection. That is what you did, there is no excuse or further explaination to be given then the hit and run. I hope in person you make more sense than this and have more pride, because you have shown none here and only shown that you are irresponsible, immature, and a criminal.
Can't believe no one else has said it...must be becoming a cliche on TR. Oh well, I'll do the honors: pwned.

Now what can we do about this nonsense statute making illegal the installation of aftermarket exhaust on a motor vehicle?

And I wish I had a car equivalent to the 350Z in high school. Would have gotten laid a LOT more with less work. Bonus!

Well the exhaust statute has been there for a long time and was rarely enforced. In regards to racing me, I drive a 2001 Camaro SS that is red and has the tag Devl505 so I am easy to spot. I do not race on the street, not because I am a cop or it is illegal but because I get to see the end result of stuff all too often. I however do like cars and enjoy fast cars, the exhaust thing is probably going to fade away like the enforcement on Gandy did until the release of FF2 which got the publics attention all over again.

I have emissions legal exhaust, but it has been reconfigured as well so there are always things that we do that are not right. The scene has to die down for a while and all will hopefully fall back to normal. I have to agree that it gets old when I get approached by one of my brothers in the profession for hanging out with my friends and our cars basically because of what we drive and where we are sitting. Give it time and let things work themselves out.

Sooooo, how about the guy on the bike? Is he okay??? Because, you know, (no matter how dumb he is) human life is more important than your car having a few scratches on it. Just so you know.
fuckin' high schoolers, I swear....

this thread has proved that silverstone is a fucking elitist rich bastard with no morals. scumbag hit another human being and was only worried about... a fucking machine!

it's a machine, you little arrogant shit! you should be more concerned about the person you could have easily killed with your overpriced yuppie shitbox. for shame. you and people like you are what's wrong with America. you have no respect for human life, no matter how low that life is, and it will backfire on you someday.

do you have any idea how many people i help on the road? at least two a week. sometimes many more. we live in a civil society, and your attitude is contributing to its breakdown.
