Why isnt there a N/A Forum?
I've been apart of this board for quit some time and I enjoy reading it everyday. I read mostly into the Honda/Acura Tech, classifieds and free-4-all. I used to go into the Forced Induction forum to read posts because thats the route I was going to take one day. But instead, I've decided to go N/A. After beginning my N/A build, I've come to realize that there is NO N/A Forum. Is there a reason why? I know it COULD fall in the Honda/Acura tech, but that title is so broad. Suspension, how-to's, etc...things of that nature fit into the section very well. There is a forum that discuss's forced induction and it is pretty specific to that...turbo, supercharger, general FI questions. But questions regarding a N/A motor I think should have a forumn that will focus on just that topic so when poeple are trying to ask N/A specific questions(dont know how many will have valid questions) theres a quicker, easier way to find/discuss the topic. I myself was looking for some questions regarding a few different N/A setup's and had to go through the odd topics listing in the Honda/Acura tech just to piece together a few answers. I eventually ending up just pm'ing people like KJ to get the answers I needed. Even the subject line under Honda/Acura tech is pretty broad(Honda/Acura Discussion). I am no ways trying to flame this board, I love it...but I wanted to know if there was a reason why there isnt a N/A forum for those of us who want/need to ask and know N/A questions/answers.

General car chat isnt specific to N/A though..it ranges from topics to how to tint windows to discussing different models of cars. And I dont know how many of the "n/a techs" actually visit this forum. But thanks for the input so far..

...well speaking for my self...I am building/have partially built my motor N/A because I spun a bearing in it and had to have it torn down and rebuilt. So being that it was going to be torn down anyhow, I went ahead and upgraded the pistons, bored out the block and upgraded the rods to start. I dont particually want to go faster, but because it didnt cost me any more in labor as far as the install and the parts werent too big of a difference, I went ahead and did it. I figured at least if I wanted to go faster OR manily, when it comes time to sell the car/motor, it will have more worth then being a stock motor. I have to finish the head work and tranny upgrades later, but I still needed to know some questions about what parts to use, how its done, etc...pertaining to building it...N/A. Thats my view...but I can see how one could say going N/A is boring. Though I've discussed with a few honda/acura builders that its somewhat fun to race a FI car with a built N/A motor and win...in the quarter. And before it gets out of hand, not saying that it happens alot or often, but it has happened, if your into racing N/A. Thanks for the input...but still doesnt answer my general question.
With High Compression...I dont think you can run N/A with boost...as far as Honda/Acura's. But Im not 100% sure. But thats considering your building a N/A motor with high compression...to meet the criteria of...N/A. But the idea would be sweet
