are you all rich or how does this work?
One word, DRUGS .
Thats what I've been using to finance my habit.
Legally...Go to school and get a degree that will get you the bucks. It makes it much easier to afford the things you want. The medical field is always paying.

Kirk I will have to talk to you someday about that, I will be going to school but I am not sure if IT will be a good choice at this time.
What Chuck said is completely true. I am currently battling my car payments (300/month) but always sending in almost more than half.. should have it paid off by next year. Then comes the insurance which is the biggest dent in my pocket, 473/month... I do what I can without sacrificing my health and/or normal daily expenses. If I can't afford it, I wouldnt even think about it, if I want something I will work for it until I have the money for it.
I know people that don't have jobs and every bit of money they come by they invest in their cars... not a smart thing to do, those are the people that you call when getting a group together to go out to eat saying "I don't have any money.".... I like having my fun with my friends and I wouldn't give that up for a car. A car can wait.. its an expensive hobby.

if you keep a good nose out, you can find some stuffs for cheap, you just have to be right place right time, thats basically how i've financed everything on my car, good interest rate is good too, my car payment is only $140 a month, tack on another $100 for insurance
, but ya, i make decent money, but have discovered that buy searching around for a good deal and being patient, it works out better

i'm happier in a cheap car. only reason i have a newer car is reliability for my commute to tampa every day.
i'd much rather be driving a fully gutted, beaten up, primer gray ghetto rigged piece of shit, like my last five cars. and when i sell my neon (for scrap value) that's what i'm getting. plus, when you make good money and drive a shitbox, your bankbook swells.

That's right, bitches, TWO quotes!

I have a low paying job and a car that keeps sucking up money like a shop vac. Right now I have 7 dollars in my wallet and 10 dollars in my savings account. I eat a lot of ramen. I never buy anything I want, like a smoothie or a candy bar, because that money needs to go into the car. The car rewards me by breaking more.
Eventually I'll have it running well, and it will be fun to drive as it was before it broke, and some of the stuff that broke will be replaced with aftermarket goodies, like an act 2600 to replace my dead clutch, maybe some 2g pistons if my engine needs a rebuild, things like that. Until then, it sucks to be me.

So true...I can't tell you how many times I've seen some high school punk, tooling around in a totally mod'd, body clad ricer of some sort..or in a souped up RX7 or whatever...and I always wonder, "what in the hell, how do little shits like this get money for cars like that?!!!"
