Just Brakes

I talked to my ex recently. Her front rotors were warped and she was getting abotu due for pads all around. She told me she went there for there "$99 reline" They told her she needed a new master cylinder and a bunch of other stuff. Quoted her $1100. I feel like calling them and ripping someones head off. I work at a shop and thats just appalling to rip someone off that bad for a $200 job at most with new rotors, not just turning them. So she went to ford and they turned the rotors and installed new pads for the sum of $350.

yeah just brakes needs something to make their income off of sine most things wrong with brakes are kinda cheap to fix!

they just advertise the "$99 reline" to get people in there, then jack up the $$$$$$$$$$$

Yep, my GF took her car there for the $99 special, lol. Then they quoted her at $1000+ for new rotors, pads and bleeding...thats about it. I just put new pads on and its been fine for a while. She'll need 2 rear rotors, but still nothing over $100 altogether.

Well I told her about what it was going to cost for parts and how long it takes before she went and did it. So at least she had a general idea.

But I dont know how they sleep at night overcharing ppl like that. I still wanna call them up and yell and scream
