I was wondering which cam gear is better aem or skunk2? Alot of people said that aem sux but what do folks think?

I have not heard of one slipping in a while.The cam gears do the same thing it does notmatter which one you buy.

well i got a free aem cam gear today and i wanted to see if there was a difference between that and the skunk2...also what kind of advantage will i get by putting on this cam gear?

Not much honestly, maybe 3hp.Most of the time you only need to adjust the cams 1-2 degrees.They help as a package with stuff like exhaust,headers stuff like that.

i think i will go to SS and have them do my ecu and put the cam gear on then i'll dyno it.
