Crank Case Ventilation Qs
what is the purpose of modifiying the CCV
i know it has something do do with increased pressure and such, but can someone go into some thick details about it.
i remember the 4g prelude at SS having two oversized CCV bungs coming out of the valve cover and the hoses going to an aluminium box. i also noticed enthalpy's car having some things done to it.

Atmosperic pressure and some ventilation is all a crankcase really needs.
One thing I like about my dry sump system is that it is always ventilating the crankcase without contaminating the intake charge or needing aditional hardware.

so that would explain the sludge i have on my TB.
400HP your talking about a dry sump oil pan will basically take care of crank case ventilation and pressure in its self.
i want to know what actually goes on. like go deeper into the subject
so the little filter you see on the PCV does harm and no create cause you loose the pressure?
do you need positive, negative, or nuetral atmospheric pressure in the crank case?
