Dan, I will be there. My dyno numbers on H-T are really broken up. The setup needs some TLC and a little time. Come track day, hopefully the car will be solid. I dont care what everyone else runs as long as I am happy with my times. I am just thankful that I have gotten this far with my project.

I've seen cars on wrinkle wall slicks get beaten by cars on street tires, I wouldn't discredit street-tire cars on the track.

i dont care how you run at the track, if you can put street tires on it and drive it home legally (legal windows, bumpers, exhaust) then its a street car.

In my opinion, if you can't drive it on the street, its not even a CAR. May as well be a solid fueled rocket if all its good for is a pass down the 1/4.

The bummer about street tire vs slicks is that everyone who loses on street tires bitches after they lose. Don't agree to a race if you don't think the race is fair.

race tires, race gas, no cats, these are all big no no's on street cars, why set limits? This car has full interior, door panels and all. Thats a street car. He has FAR too much hp for street tires, so he puts it down through slicks.

I know when my civic is done shortly after track day, I won't be running it on street tires.

John i understand what you are saying but to me once you put slicks on it then it is a track car because you wont ride around town on slicks. I dont blame him for using slicks at the track. I would love to see Eric put slicks on his car and take it down the track but i also understand why he doesnt. Hopefully i can make it to the track day i would like to race this honda at the track. Would race him on the street also but i dont think that would be fair if he has the traction problems you say he has.
