i'd say the ls1 has the most potential

you cant compare a 98 Gt against a 98 z28...
thats at least 20 car lengths in the 1/4 difference.
Thats as bad as comparing an EVO to a Prelude.

Sorry... 4.6's seem to have a serious problem... they are slow stock for stock..
14.8-15.2's at around 95mph is what i see the nearly stock ones run at BMP.... 13.2's-13.8's at around 106mph is what i see the nearly stock ls1 camaros run. By nearly stock i mean some of the mustangs and camaros had intake and or cat back.
Civics outsell camaros too.... yeah and they are slower too.
The comparision should be made between a 97 camaro vs a 98 stang. But the stang still will lose the race. Easier to work on yeah, more room in the engine bay. More reliable... I'd say its more reliable in general. But if u want reliablity, keep the civic.

Wanted to thank everyone for sharing your knowledge and/or experience. It really did help me to make up my mind.
I'm new to this domestic world, so I needed some help. As of right now I'm going to get a bike first (always wanted one), and then hopefully I'm going to find the one (probably LS1). But like I said, thanks again for your advice.
