Default springs or coilovers?

I was wondering which better, springs or coilovers? I have springs now but they cant work with the rims i just got. So I was thinking if i got coilovers the height can be changed if i decide that i want smaller rims later on.I was thinkin about shunk2 coils, any suggestions? Also heard that the ride with coilovers are stiff is that true?

ground control coilovers are off da hizzle fo shizzle bizzle. and no the ride is purely dependant on the spring rate.

you must be talking to idiots to have heard nothing bad about coilovers.

coilovers are the ultimate suspension, IF you buy quality shit. quality coilovers like Bilstein PSS9's or Tein's are the best in my honest opinion, you get height and ride adjustability, make it as high or as low as you want, and the ride as soft or as stiff as you want.

are you going to get that with just springs?

NO, especially if you just put some springs on your stock struts/springs. now if you get some nice springs like H&R's or Eibachs and put them together with some nice shocks/struts like some koni adjustables, or even some bilstiens...then you can adjust the firmness of the ride...then yeah, you got pretty decent suspension...just no ride height adjustabilty.

now if you dont give a shit about quality and just want your car to sit on its nuts and ride like shit, go buy some neuspeed race springs..or even some "dropzone" springs if you wana spend as least cash as possible, throw them on your stock shocks/struts....and ride out.

i think theyre thinking of the ground control/skunk 2 coil SLEEVES that are pretty much like adjustable race springs that retain the stock shocks which = blown out stock shocks

springs can be better, you just have to buy the right dampers.
