I have 5 Autometer gauges and an extra $500+ dollars in my pocket because I bought them instead of others..
Been using Autometer since my 88' 5.0 notch, They work fine for me.

There's quite a bit of BS in this thread. First, you want to spend big money on the most accurate gauge you can find, but its an air/fuel gauge? Perhaps the most worthless gauge to have in a car (I'd rather have a clock or a brake pressure gauge than an air/fuel).
And Auto Meter makes a very high quality gauge. Everybody uses them and I have yet to hear a problem with them other than the recall on the short sweep electric fuel pressure gauges last year (which Auto Meter recalled and sent out the much more expensive full sweep gauge in return).
And just because they are sold at NAPA, doesn't mean its junk. Auto Meter has quite a few different lines of gauges with different quality and features. The one's on the shelf at auto parts stores are the cheap ones, they can order the better versions. NAPA also sells B&M and Holley as well, is that junk too?

I know autometer has been around for at least 20 years, i dont think greddy has been around that long.
