focus vs lancer vs ...
I decided im buyin a brand new car. im goin to put about 5k down and pay the rest with payments. the cars i decided to get are focus hatch, sunfire, corolla, sentra...they're all about the same price. I thought i read somewhere or something that the focus is a really good car. I jsut need a reallyg ood car that can take the abuse of delieverin pizzas. And will last a really long time.

just get an old honda from the 80's or something. change the oil once and fill it up with gas and wait for it to take a shit. then sell it for four times what its worth on here and then buy a real car.

I'd say go with the Focus. Ford has come a long way in reliability since my 2000 model year. You can still get your hands on a Focus for about $13.5 nicely equipped.
If you can wait a bit longer, try to get your hands on the new 2.3l PZEV motor. This motor is far more advanced than the ZX3's standard 2.0l Zetec. With a higher flow air filter and exhaust, this car beat the SVT Focus in the quatermile. I think the sticker on the 2.3l ZX3 is a little higher than the standard ZX3, but it is well worth the money.
