was just being sarcastic with my redline at 70 comment if it wasnt blunt enough 
i was gonna go with 4.10s on my 5.0, but decided not to, right now im at 2100 rpms at 60 with 3.73s .. are t45s od longer than a t-5?

Some gears are cut just right that they do whine a bit.
nothing wrong with em, just the way they work.

I have Delta flow 2 chambers by Flowmaster, well I start to hear that wonderful Flowmaster tone around 2 grand, I sit at around 2 grand or so in 5th gear at 60 mph,I have 3.73's. It cruises at ok rpm I guess, they say 3.73's are the all around best gear for street and highway, but I think I liked my 3.27's when I drove all the way to GA, that was definate cruising there, 2 gas stops the whole way to Marietta, now it would be like 2 and a half to 3 tanks (AHH!)
