yeah..it would.. i am leaning that direction now.. doing that safely isnt cheap either.. the stock fuel system wont support more than a 100 shot.. even then its pushing it.. 75 to be safe.. so i am going tohave to work out something for the fuel side..

on the other side.. the total IC setup to go with the 03 blower is about 800-1000 + fuel styff + $800 for blower (can prolly wait a bit and get one for about $600) plus injectors and TB upper/lower intakes etc etc.. all up looking at about $2500-$3K

still a shit load cheaper than a Vortech at double that price.

but Nitrous is gonna be the best bet to go.. only issue is 150 is about as much as i can run safely.. blower or turbo is much better for making 600 rwhp. And your exactly right..if 600 is my goal.. then the mach1 is the wrong car..

Zate you mentioned intecooler stuff,but you never mentioned the Heat Exchanger that mounts behind the front bumper.Dont forget the water tank,Water pump,42lbrs or 50lbrs..If I was doing it and had to buy something like this I wouldnt buy the reg. water tank I would get the Vortec Aftercooler tank that goes where your Battery is and put my Battery in the trunk(Alot more water than stock for more consitent runs).I might think of some more but thats it for now.

Zate,2500-3000 you estimated?You need to wake up bro.NOS direct port only costs 1000-1200,and is adjustable to a 300 shot for the future.Plus,you say the Mach came with 10.0 to one compression,not to blower friendly bro,but is sweet for nitrous.Just food for thought.later man.

Zate I wouldnt run more than a 75 shot anyway,Ive seen to many of our trannys go with more and the times arent that much better with a 100 shot anyway....Been there done that!
I ran a 12.4@111 with a 100 shot (More Practice would of been a lower 12 high 11)
With your car a 75 shot should get you low 12s high 11s with tuning.

yeah.. 5.4 swap is too much $$$ for me.. unless i could get one of those beastly Aussie 5.4s for cheap.. lol
