I'm up in Odessa near 54 and Gunn Hwy. I've lived on this street my whole life (parents are across the street) so I think its a decent neighborhood
Corey, I've had the garage for a year or two. Its 28x40. Here's a page with details and pics.

Congrats!
I've been in my house for just over a year and love having equity...of course it puts a SERIOUS strain on $$ for aftermarket parts, but hey...it earned me $13K in the first year in appreciation, so you really can't beat the payback! :o)
Hope you enjoy it!

Looks great Dave!!
You mentioned pavers on the entryway... is your builder giving you a break on the row of bullnose pavers? I'm having them put up front and out back. Front entryway looks smaller than yours and it was $400 for just the bullnose pavers!!! Christ!!! IT'S A FRICKING CURVED BRICK!!!

It was an upgrade on the house, $500 for 18" ceramic tile on the inside entryway and pavers on the outside. I couldn't pass that deal up.
And yes, for some unknown reason, pavers are WAAAAYYY too expensive. I wonder if paver is french for gold

I turned 28 in March. My wife and I bought the property 5 years ago and lived there in a mobile home until last year when we started construction. It sucked living in a mobile home, but it was worth it.
BTW, I'm not rich, I used to have a great paying job but no more, so now I'll be scraping buy, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Its going to be great to finally have a nice house.
