i have a 2000 mustang v6 conv... i need some suggestion on what i need to pic up the speed ... i want fast ... looks will come later ... pm me any ideas .. parts and where to purchase or get installed ..

my friend has a 2002 there is nothing faster but mid high 13's with the 6cly but man no auto.supercharger did it also like 5k or more in the motor and fuel system about 2k in susp.Do you really wanna make it fast? If you have the cash i say go for it if not then go show. nice looking cars tho but iwould have bought a 88-92 coupe or hatch for 4k and put like 500 in it and run 13's

 

There not much u can do with those motors i would do a K&N for starters and then go N.O.S. or NAAWWWSS it will be the cheapest way to make the car kinda quick but most likely a stock GT will still be faster. You can make any car faster but i wouldnt dump alot of money in the v6 save the money and get something fast is what i would recommend

 

yeah, dont buy a V6 and then ask "how can i go fast?"

pppllleeeaassseeee don't work on your Honda, there is enough of those ugly POS's around Lakeland and everywhere else. Some people are right about it getting to mid-high 13's but it's always nice to have a sleeper. And if you really have ALOT of money to spend there is actually a guy I talk to from Maryland who is running 12's in his 95 V6. I haven't lived in Lakeland for too long so I don't know too many places around here that do installs for stuff like that, but there are a few places around the Tampa area. Supercharger and head work are just a few things that could be done. There are actually a few websites that specialize in the V6's, although I can not think of any off the top of my head. V8 swap. but all in all you would be better off trading that off on something that is already equipped with a v8. oooooooohhhhhh or you vcould go all hard core on it and do a boosted to all hell 2.3 4 cyl swap in it

 

I got a friend that can probbly do it i dont see why not.

I have a v6 for now and I decided that it would be best for me just to turn it into a show car until I get my new stang in august of '04. *shrug* It would cost me more to "make it fast" than it would to just buy a faster stang.
