Mark, the figures you posted above are so close its not really even worth worrying about. Factor in the increased strength and resale value of the TKO2, coupled with the fact that Scotts car rarely gets driven on the street, and it shouldn't even be a question.

i look at it this way... since your going back in technology with your engine (carbed) why not do so with your tranny......
i say find you an old 40' ford and take the tranny out of that.... then put a bunch of realy old fossils and such in there to make it aged...... then you'll have the ultimate archaic setup for your beast !!!!!!!!!!

IMO that is a difference that's definately noticable. .2248 is alittle bigger jump than going from 4.10's to 4.30's. I've driven a car with 4.10's then driven one with 4.30's. I can definately notice a SOTP difference. On the highway that will be a difference in alittle over 150 rpms. I know that's not a big difference on a tach but drive an hour to BMP, that shit gets on your nerves.
