NOS has kits under development for other popular EFI cars, it chose to introduce the NOSzle design concept to owners of ever-popular ’96-’99 Mustang GTs (with the return-style fuel system) as well as ’99-½-’02 GTs (with the returnless fuel system). Part number 08100NOS covers both designs and incorporates numerous ingenious (and patent-protected) innovations that will simplify the installation process of nitrous on any port-injected engine while delivering massive power.

On the Superior Automotive Dynojet chassis dyno, our unassisted 4.6L (with five-speed manual transmission) delivered 234.0 horsepower and 284.8 lb-ft of torque at the rear tires. But with the NOSzle system set for a 150 horsepower shot, those numbers jump to an astonishing 383.0 horsepower and 502.4 lb-ft of torque! That’s an extra 149 horsepower and 217.6 lb-ft of torque. :o

You don’t need to remove the intake manifold to perform the NOSzle installation, but this fully plumbed intake gives an idea of how sanitary and simple the system is.

 

The genius of the NOSzle is shown here. The patented NOSzles are sandwiched between the injector bungs in the intake manifold and the stock fuel injectors. Neoprene O-rings provide a leak-free seal.
