Hey I have 17" 03 Cobra wheels on my Mustang and I have 275/40/17 on all 4 corners. I was wondering if a 245/40/17 or 245/45/17 would fit on the rims on the front or would that not be wide enough? I just think 275 is really wide for the front tires. Thanks!

 

Yeah the 245 45 is the stock size

 

best size for the front is 255/45/17.

 

And that will fit on a 9" rim? I have the same size wheels all around. What about 255/40/17? Curious as why the sidewall needs to be taller in the front.
