i dont know anyone from badrap (or at least i dont think i do) and i am in no way condoning any stupidity on the part of anyone from TR but these inter-threats (get it it is like internet but not 
) are retarded. im not sure that you belong on TR ESPECIALLY NOT IN THE FORD FORUM THAT IS MOSTLY DRAMA FREE if you are just gonna shout some dumb ass hollow threats like "he can find you if he wants" and all that B.S. in the ford forum (even if you dont drive a ford like me) we all get along so if you wanna start some of your bullshit do it in the FFA forum where there is plenty of TRama and noone will care otherwise fuck off!

Is this referring to Steve From Dragin' Motorsports? he's a great guy, you have to get to know him a little to be able to understand his demeanor sometimes, but great guy. He is quite knowledgable about Mustangs and would definately listen/look into anything that he says, although I rarely take anything for gospel from any one individual no matter who it is.
As for the original post regarding the Aeromotive pumps, I thought they required a fairly large (-10 ?) connection on the out side, not to mention a return line as well, not sure, but check with Joe @ Fordspeed, they had set one of those pumps up on a carb'd car up there..
To the idle threats, etc.. all I have to say is come on guys, I thought we were all adults on both boards..

Awww, sure you do, I'm from Badrap. 
Let me give you guys a little insight on some of these people from Badrap and maybe you'll understand some of them a little bit better? I'll be the first one to admit that a lot of them may caome off as cocky, a bit overbearing at times and at first glance maybe even as an asshole. I really wouldn't expect you to completely understand them or even to like them because you haven't had the life experiences they've had but maybe you'll gain a little appreciation for them. If not now, probably in about 15 or 20 years for most of you.
A large number of the people on Badrap are either Military or are LEO's (that's Law Enforcement Officers, not somebody born is August, I believe it is) When I say military, I don't mean somebody who was a private and spent most of their time as a mess cook in Tupelo, Miss....although there is nothing wrong with that MOS. These guys, to a man, were Force Recon, Rangers, Seals, Airborne etc. The baddest of the bad who protect your and my asses everyday and night from the real assholes of this world. They must of necessity be people with ATTITUDE. And thank God they have it. They probably go, or went thru, more shit in one week of training than the rest of the military goes thru in their entire tour of duty or we will in our entire lives. I accordingly grant them more respect and cut them more slack than I do others when they seem a little pushy or cocky when compared to your average guy on the street.
As an example, I recently visited the home of one of these guys. I don't know what you have hanging on your wall at home, but this guy had a collage, if you will, of his military career. Name just about ANY bad ass place in the world in the last ten years or so where the shit has hit the fan and guess what? There's a pic of this guy there right in the middle of it. Panama, Bosnia, Afganistan, Kuwait , he was there. He's out now but is standing by in case they want him in Iraq or wherever. I wish I could be like him when I grow up.
And the LEO's over there...the same. They're ex-military too and and are NOT the cops that we are always bitching about, you know, the ones who'll bust you for chirping your tires coming out of a parking lot and accidentally hit a patch of sand. They are real and will be there when you need a real cop.
Now, all that being said, most of the shit came down when Dustin, how shall we say,... "edited" one of the guy's sigs pertaining to his life in the 82nd Airborne and inserted the word "gay" into it. I'm sure Dustin didn't mean a whole lot by it but, damn, as the song says, "Don't tug on superman's cape".
Take all this for what it's worth. Just like when your mom or dad said you'll understand one day...you'll understand one day. You don't have to like those assholes over there, but know where they've been. As for me, they're my kind of assholes.
Oh, and no, I'm not one of them. I tried to be Force Recon during Nam but the knees wouldn't hack it so the Marines sent me home to mommy...and I feel less the man for it.

I hope both sides of this debate will read all of this even though it is long and feel free to add your .02
Good editorial by the Dirtman. However I know not everyone over there falls into that category.
My main complaint with some of the Badrap crowd is that they tend to look down there noses at TR for various reasons when on Badrap or at Badap events. But when they make the occasional stop here they post like everything is alright. This is not singling out any one person, just a generalization from what I can gather. I am not trying to add to the drama but I think some of you know what I am talking about.
Yes TR has a large import base and of the import base I only respect a handful of them (when it comes to car stuff) for what they have accomplished with their cars. Many of them are good people regardless of what they drive or how fast they are. Granted we tend to have more drama here but that is in part to many things of which can be another debate.
But there are more domestics on TR now than one might think and that number grows every day.
On a personal note I am a 100% domestic car person, Ford for 98% of that as you can see but I can respect cars that accomplish great feats regadless of what the badge on the car says. I think that is why I do not blend with all of the Badrap people, I can give credit to a fast 4 banger and not feel as if I am abandoning my friends. In the meantime I despise any form of rice import or domestic.
Hopefully the day will come where Badrap and TR will be seen as equals by both sides.
