Funny, but it seems that I addressed my reasoning earlier. But for the record a select few posts have disappeared due to personal content.
But to paraphrase I wanted to see if this could be worked out as adults and it has for the most part. The whole locking a thread thing in this case seems to leave unfinished business hanging in the air. Better to get it out now instead of letting it fester.

How many passes? Not sure, but including dyno pulls it was over 100...
It's going to be a little bit before I get my ride back together, but I'll line up against Steve any time, I need some competition anyway!
Hell, I never got the chance to @ any of the FFW races, so it'd be a first! Anna's doing fine, little one should arrive in about a month. How about Heather and the family? Alls well I hope? Give me a call sometime, I still need you to weld in some gussets on the cage in the near future.
Probably should have you start making that sticker for the new ride, by the time i get it done you should have the sticker ready!
