Chip, EEC Tuner, or Mafburner....which one should I get?????
Looks like I have to get one of the above to fix my a/f prob. So which once would be more beneficial? Down the road the car will have a SQ Vortech on it
but that's once I crack an 11. So please give feedback as to which one u think is the best bang for buck. Thanks.

ive heard good about twEECer. i know its not one you have to choose from but oh well
good thing about it is you can hook up a lap top to the computer and adjust just about anything you want.

I would do the chip now and get a Mafterburner later as he's working on some new products. Your going to need a chip if you go F/I anyway to handle larger injectors. The chip will/can do some basic things for you that you can do with the tweecer or mafterburner alone. Raise the rev. limiter, remove torque retards, remove knock sensor at high rpms, change the tip in, etc. Use the mafterburner on top of that to tweak your fuel trims, and if this new one comes out you can control FP and soon hopfully have some electronic timing control.
go with a chip, the mafterburner only changes the MAF signal... it cannot change timing, codes, rev limiters, fan temp or anything like that...
id just get a JMS chip with some different tunes for race fuel and such... then when you get the blower you can have different boost settings and such as well...
the mafterburner is good only for fuel, and besides if the chip is done right, you'll never have to touch it again...
you could ruin your car with one wrong click of the mafterburner..... not to say you couldnt do the prgram yourself.....but think if you overlooked something :o BOOM!

Actually from the one person who has been running the tweecer it's somewat limited in what it can do. IE: it can't even raise the rev. limiter. I think it's a limit as to what banks it can modify. The Mafterburner products are advancing quick but the longer you can hold out the more features you are going to get wrapped up into one product down the road. Just do the chip, my JMS mail order chip seems to be making more power then any other bolton cobra so he did something right in the tune. All be it, it took three try's but I kept changing the combo slightly on him as well.
I agree with Mustang23, the EEC tuner is probably your best bet. Most functionality/options, but definately have to do some reading/research on it.
Larry over @ fordspeed used his on his car.. he runs LOW 11s with a Street Warrior combo (hyd lifters, less than .500 lift cam, iron heads, etc)
