Default a4 block

any one have someone that has one bran new for sale? I have the 99 svo book they have a svo 302 race block siamese bore wet sump block and they have 2 differnt ones here are the specs

#1$$$1695.00
8.200 deck (replaces a4)
cast iron block with 4 bolt main capson journals 2.3.4 and strengthened structural sections.
nodular iron main caps
can be stroked/bored to produce 360cu in
siamese cylinder bores
wet sump oiling design (can be made dry)
2.248" main journal diameter(stock 302 size)
weighs 160lbs
for professional competition(drag racing,prostreet)
semi finished lifter bores must be honed to fit


#2$$$same price
can be bored/stroked to 380 cu in
8.700" deck
weighs 175



worth it?? thats alot of f-ing money

you wouldn't want to run it on the street either, fewer water passages, etc.
but it'll take some serious beating on ...
also, add about another 500-700 in prep and finishing work...

:o :o wow well i need a block that can with stand 600+ hp everyday 302 block btw probbly gunna do a 331

You could always do a 351 too. Blocks are much stronger than a stock 302 block and also can be found for relatively cheap.


And Derek, is there any difference with the A4 block and R302 block?? My friend Steve runs an R302 block in his 93 Cobra with no overheating issues what so ever and the car sees many many street miles and cruises.
