as Jomar said my R302 has absolutely no overheating issues with a 3 core brass/copper radiator, police clutch fan and a supercharger to add heat. can drive it to california tomorrow if I so desired. the cooling issues of R302 blocks are a myth. best way to put it is that a chevy 400 smallblock is also a siamesed bore motor and they came in many production vehicles without issues. it is when you do not correctly set up the coolant passages on an R302 block that you get into trouble.
also there are people who have trouble with anything and everything they build.
My setup is not an exception either, I researched this cooling myth for a good while and found a lot of daily driven 500-600 rwhp R302 cars around the country with no issues except traction

Do you own a Torch Red FRC and tremble every time you drive under I75 on Hwy 60 and look in your rearview mirror? If so you are suffering from what is known as Cobraphobia.
