Thanks for the words and the cheering section yesterday, not to mention the extra helmet. I do not think the weather conditions will get much better so I will need to find a little something somewhere.

A healthy one might have done the job. I picked up 3 1/2 m.p.h. from the last time we were at the track. A little of that was weather and a little was a jet change in the carb. to make it leaner.

Actually I had a full 10 gallons on board because I ran out the last time all of us were at the track so 8 less gallons would have been great.

And yes I watched the bumper dragging Porsche. :o What a freak ! But bouncing the front end off of the pavement several times can not be good on that thing.

The car is pretty light already and I can not think of anything else to remove or change without making it look like it is gutted. I am hell bent on getting the car to the 11's just the way it sits other than more tunning.
I made a jet change to lean it out a little more before I came to the track. This was the first time they have been messed with in two years and may have been the reason for the extra 4 mp.h.. But I am sure the good weather helped to.
