I ALWAYS type out a lengthy response. Typing for me comes second nature,.. I type as fast as I can talk to you in person. Even faster to a degree. So before I know it there is a 4 paragraph spread of what was on my mind at any given moment. Some of you dont like to read everything,.. Tommy being one of the biggest offenders of that. Either that or he honestly doesnt comprehend what I typed out. I wont change how I type everything out. I feel its informative and if I help out at least one person who reads through my posts then I feel I have done my duty to pass on the legacy of what we do.

Be honest,.. you know you'd miss me if I was gone. (Chuckle)

I'll be gone for extended periods because of my new business puts me out on the road for weeks at a time. I am back for a few days.

Funny how you feel I start shit when all I did was show a guy how easy a 5 lug conversion was and Tommy posts up with how he's not trying to start anything yet he all but called me liar out right with out saying it in so many words. How am I supposed to react to that? I stay out of yours and Tommy's posts unless its something useful I think you might benefit from,.. yet he almost always has some sarcastic comment to make when ever I post up. So yeah,.. it gets a little old.

This is not my main board anyway. I just like to help and thats why I pop in every now and then. But if you feel this would be a better place with me not here then no problem. I can remove myself from the equation. Ford Tech is pretty much dead compared to how it used to be anyway. One less trouble maker wont make or break this place.

I already apologized for my comment,.. but you do have a way of getting under my skin. Might get along great in person,..but here on the board you seem like an antagonistic teenager. The LMAO you posted seemed like your way of rubbing in Tommy's entire post. Since I didnt agree with what he said I took it as a personal attack. If you had just said "LMAO writing a book" then I would not have responded the way I did. Not making an excuse for what I said. Just that I took your remark out of context. Easy thing to do over the net. Just seems like when ever Tommy and I get into it your right there like his lap dog.

I didnt say your wheel set up with your car was wrong. Only tried to explain that SN95 and Fox cars share the same suspension. The SN95 has a much larger fender back there and the extra 3/4" axle width on each side gives that much more room to run wide wheels vs what a Fox can run. Not sure what coil over kit you have. I have the UPR universal with QA1 springs. They intrude in on the wheel space. When using the exact same set up in an SN95 it would do the same thing.

Look at how the spring comes in past the frame. The wheel will rub the spring before it hits anything else.

I can not run a 315 tire back here or a 10.5" wheel with 6.5 BS. I already tried. I can run a 10" wheel with a 6" BS. That fit perfectly. I would run a 17" wheel but my tire choice would be limited to a 275/40. I have to run 17" or larger wheel in order to clear the Cobra brakes up front. The only reason I'm bumping up to 18" is because there are more wheel choices in the 18x10 size as well as more tire choices. I tried a 285/35 and it fit good. I have not tried a 295/35 because we ran out of time and the shop was closing. Though I will try that size when I get my car back.

Jesus.

I can't find anything wrong with Hursts posts, technically I will add a few things.

1 - These are ballpark numbers. Different tires and different wheels are not always the same exact width. Stick to the ballpark that Hurst posted and try it - it might fit. Don't go over 6.5BS though with FOX length axles, that's one thing that is pretty much always 100%.

2 - Everyone keep saying 6.5bs 10" wheel or 6.5bs 10.5" wheel. Just wanted to point out that 6.5 BS is 6.5 BS whether it's a 9inch wheel or a 20inch wide wheel. All we're talking about is the distance from the face of the axle(rotor) to the back of the wheel.

3 - BS is SOMETIMES not measured to the extreme back edge of the wheel. Many wheels measure 1inch wider on that extreme edge compared to their advertised width (which is the bead mounting surface). So that means that a wheel with 6.5" of BS "could" measure 7" from flange to rear edge.
