Ok i think this is a common problem with 05-10 ford mustang gt's since i own one and i recently had this problem and saw alot of people having the same problem on various threads anyway Long story short i have an 07 mustang gt and i like to go to few open parking lots and let loose if u know what i mean well one day my steering went out and was hard to turn at lower rpms but at higher rpms it was fine reason being is because there are two valves in this power steering pump one for lower rpms and one for higher long story short i took it in ther flushed the lines and put a new pump because the power steering pump was bad but it wasnt caused because of drifting so im still looking for an answer as to why it happened but im gonna test that theory because i have a 12 month warrenty on the pump
