OK.. so since I have never "experienced" this befo
could someone explain "clutch chatter" to me?
Is it more feel than sound? I just had the Spec clutch and Steeda cable/quadrant installed and I am feeling a small shudder in the clutch pedal as I depress it... is that what this is?

Clutch chatter with a performance clutch happens when you are letting out on the pedal (starting the car rolling). Depending on your driving style, clutch material, and luck, can be just a slight stutter or violantly shake the whole car. If it really is happening when you depress the pedal (push it in) it may be the collar that the throw out bearing rides on is galled or not lubricated, causing it to bind some.
Next "stupid" question then...
I'm going to try and get it back to David before Sunday.. if I can't should I call Track Day off?

I wouldn't worry too much. Drive it next week, it MAY work itself out. Sometimes the cable doesn't get lubricated all the way and it may stick too. It won't hurt anything to drive it or race it (unless for some reason the clutch sticks and doesn't disengage all the way, causing the clutch to slip non-stop). Just drive it, if it gets worse, or if you smell clutch or it drives funny, park it, otherwise.......

The weird thing about it is that it is not consistent...
I was thinking that it was nothing to be worried about (yet).. just wanted another opinion
