OK.. so since I have never "experienced" this befo
Had it resurfaced... David had said that the shop he has do it does an excellent job of it as well. And since David has verified now that it is the cable that is "squeeking", I'd have to attest that they must have done a damn good job.. it grabs harder than the stock clutch but also seems smoother...

Seems reasonable to be the cable. Like I said, the cables are shipped dry, and must be lubricated. Sometimes the lube doesn't make it down the whole cable, thus your problem. If you put some action on it (dont even need to drive it, just keep working the pedal), it may work itself out. Or if your cable has the grease fitting on it, squirt away
